FEAR-BASED FORECASTING – WHY IS IT DONE? By Karen David, DD |

I don’t know why some people working with sciences such as astrology and numerology or in any manner of working with future trends do that kind of forecasting. There are two sides to every coin so to speak. You have the positive and the negative concerning any manner or way of working with impelling trends or future events. So, why focus on the negative when one sees something coming up? There is always something positive that can happen or come from even what appears to be the “darkest” of times. I’ve also heard the statement plenty of times that history repeats itself, and therefore, if we look at the same trends or aspects from the past, it generally re-occurs, they say. Yes, that has been true, but not all the time. History does not have to repeat itself. Lessons learned provide gifts and the chance to move away from, or having broken the “pattern” of the past. That also is true. It is also true that if there is something negative that can be shown as an impelling trend, then there is also a positive solution to the problem that can be given based on that impelling trend. So, for example, as Richard Bach stated in one of his books called Illusions, “…there is never a problem in one hand without a gift in the other…” Whether one is concerned with collective, global impelling trends, or whether one is seeking private, personal help regarding timing, remember that there is never a negative without a positive solution that can help to potentially solve the problem. I would suggest that when seeking out anyone who works with impelling trends or future events in regard to those types of sciences or in any other way, make sure that the person chosen, focuses on the positive too, not just the negative. For example, getting one’s attention in order for them to have a “wake up call” is one thing. Scaring the wits out of someone is another matter altogether, and in my professional opinion, should not be done at all at any time.
